Congratulations to Greg Grunberg on his Humanety auction raising over $11,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation of America! Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!

Two-time Saturn Award nominee Greg Grunberg stars in NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated ensemble drama series “Heroes” as Matt Parkman, a police detective with the ability to hear the thoughts of others.  “Heroes” follows the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.

In addition to his small-screen success, Grunberg has emerged as a Hollywood hyphenate. He and his partner – acclaimed writer/director Lawrence Trilling – just completed principal photography of the feature film “Group Sex.”  He serves as writer/producer/actor on this project and hopes to have this sexy romantic comedy in theatres in 2009.

Grunberg is best known as the lovable Eric Weiss on “Alias,” where he spent four seasons thwarting the menacing plans of the world’s most dubious villains.  Audiences first fell in love with Grunberg when he starred as Sean in four seasons of “Felicity.”  He has appeared in multiple episode arcs on “NYPD Blue” and  and has guest-starred on shows such as “House” and "Monk."“

His feature-film credits include “Mission: Impossible 3”, “Malibu’s Most Wanted,” “Ladykillers,” “Hollow Man,” “Austin Powers: Goldmember,” “The Muse,” “BASEketball,” “Trigger Effect” and “Dinner & Driving.”  He will next be seen in the independent action feature “Fast Glass”.

Grunberg also worked for noted film producers Dino de Laurentiis and Joel Silver. Recently, he has also helped to develop and star in a few pilots, including “The Catch” with creator-executive producer J.J. Abrams, and “Grand Union" at NBC.

A philanthropist by nature, Grunberg started the infamous celebrity rock band for charity "Band From TV" with fellow actors Hugh Laurie, James Denton, Bonnie Somerville, and Bob Guiney.  Most recently Band Form TV performed on American Idol Gives Back and helped raise over 60 million dollars.  Some noteworthy stars who have jammed with the band are John Mayer, Hayden Panetierre, Teri Hatcher, and many others.  Greg's portion of the band's charity take benefits the Pediatric Epilepsy Project at UCLA, since his eldest son suffers from epilepsy.  Greg is also the official spokesperson for the National Epilepsy Foundation and EpilepsyAdvocate.com.

Grunberg lives outside Los Angeles with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three young sons.
